What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
We provide a form that allows you to request a PANGU license for use on ESA projects. We collect information about the project to determine if it is eligible for a license, in which case an account is created with access to the license.
Registered users can submit bug reports using a form that allows you to enter contact details and specific information about the bug. We use this information to support users in their use of PANGU.
Cookies
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
When you visit our pages, a cookie is stored by Google Analytics to enable us to track your visit. No personally identifiable information is stored.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

We use Google Analytics for our website statistics, but no personally identifiable information is used in this process.
Who we share your data with
Your data is only shared with STAR-Dundee, University of Dundee and ESA employees to validate your license requests and provide support.
How long we retain your data
When you request a PANGU license, the information that you provide is validated by us prior to creating an account and / or issuing a PANGU license. This information is stored on our servers until it has been processed. If an account is created as a result of your license request, your name and email address and any PANGU licenses will be stored indefinitely. You can request that your account be deleted at any time.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We take the security of your data very seriously and our website is protected by multiple layers of security and only accessible by authorised personnel.

In the event of a data breach we will take all possible measures to identify the cause and will notify users immediately.
